Broken sword of Amras is actually...really good. Did not expect that. I one shot a sapphire serpent with a 5d7, followed by 6d7 riposte.

Have not seen a single !str this game yet, oddly enough. Really want one to negate that strength drain earlier from a grave wight. Either that or a forge so I can make some resist rings and cancel the drain all at once. Hate grave wights so much. Absolutely no threat to you if you have free action and some protection, but they are not slow like tattered wights so you don't get many chances to shoot at them. And if you try to melee them, even with a bit of will, this happens.

Something else noteworthy about this run was that I almost killed Duruin without any buffs (_earthquakes, !dexterity, !quickness, or otherwise) without taking a single point of damage. That's the power of evasion-based builds on Noldor I suppose. Nargothrond longsword and damage ring helped too.

All of my helmet got trashed earlier when I got sandwiched between a werewolf and a creeping horror right after spawning on 550 feet. RIP.

Wish glaives were more common. I saw like 3 glaives on 450-500 feet but none of them were artefact level or worth carrying. It was Duruin who finally dropped one good enough to convince me to toss my 1d3 round shield.
