Found Gorlim again but I don't think it'll help me all that much so let's roll with it.

I'm beginning to think stealth is the way to go mid game - at least with a little bit of investment. That or very heavy armour and crowd fighting.

Packs are simply too close together and too big. And you're going to be surrounded eventually. And orc champions, warriors, trolls, and Easterling warriors hurt. They won't hurt initially, but someone will get in a hit, and it'll take away a third of your HP. Then a little while later, someone else will get in another lucky hit. And pretty soon you're gonna find yourself needing to use rage herbs and going through your potions stockpile.

I really like flanking/dodging, but I find that it's only good if the packs are NOT too big. Maybe 3-4 in a fairly large room is manageable. Any larger and you're better off forfeiting the 3 bonus evasion from dodging and just duking it out in a corner somewhere.

Gorlim is surprisingly, not bad. I thought the terror part would proc more often, but I guess either I'm not putting myself into danger often enough or my will is too high. I haven't had it proc even once yet.

Haven't had a chance to try exchange places yet either. Last time I used exchange places, I recall it killed me because enemies take an extra turn while you're using it.
