Wow, nearly died to trolls again. Makes sense that they'd be problematic for low evasion, high protection builds. But apparently they're really good at poppin' up when you least expect it, from your rear end.

I take back what I said about artistry start last time. Actually feels pretty solid. My turn count is a reflection of that. Smithing character. Not low investment either. And I'm about to hit 400 feet on 4.5k turns.

This is by no means a good run. I've use-ID'ed and had to burn all of my restoratives to survive the last encounter with trolls. And had some real inefficient gameplay in there due to ingesting an herb of visions. I don't know how long I can survive for with such low supplies, but that's not due to this build, but due to poor gameplay.

Sitting on a 3 use forge right now...wish I had the experience to take jeweller (and make 2 +2 accuracy rings, or 1d1 protection rings, not sure which is better). At the very least, I could make some better gloves and helmet though.

Not sure how deep it's wise to delve into smithing on a Belegost, especially with an artistry start. Definitely not going for masterpiece or all out on smithing. But enchantment...jewelry...those look pretty good. Maybe even weaponsmithing. 1000+1500+2000 XP. Pretty expensive.

Actually artifice might be smarter to take over enchantment...you get the perks of enchantment, at the cost of more forge uses. But forges aren't all that important for this build. And whatever you make comes out immune to the elements.

Was playing kinda absent-mindedly. Spawned on 400 feet in the middle of a bunch of of wargs and easterling warriors. Killed all of them. Bunch of orc archers showed up. Killed some of them. A orc champion turns up. Wasn't really expecting him to be an issue, but apparently he was, because he got 3 hits in a row on me.

I guess because of the orc archer I had pinned down, he had flanking bonuses? Normally, my evasion is +5 over his attack, so he would only hit me 26% of the time. But with the flanking bonus, he gets +8 to-hit, or 34% to hit me. 3 times in a row...4% chance of occurring. ._.

Even the orc archer got a crit on me, I just noticed. What in the world...orc archers have +5 to-hit. I have 11 evasion ffs!
