Anyways, I'm...probably still going to screw this one up since I've not done a lot of Belegost or Artistry smiths before. Wanted to try something new. Going for power-route and heavy armour use as well.

Without gloves of the forge, it's actually pretty difficult to get the necessary smithing early game to make what I need.

On the bright side, because only having artistry cuts down my smithing options a bunch, I don't have to fret missing forges nearly as much as I do when I do enchantment starts. I've probably missed a forge already, in fact, with all those chasms and rubble about.

Later forges will still matter since I still plan on investing heavily into smithing. But since I'm skipping enchantment, the only real items of value I can make are artefacts and amulets of con, so it'll be a very long time before my smithing gets high enough to make better items than what the dungeon offers me. That means I get to pour more XP into combat in the meantime, that shadow creatures are going to be more of a pain in the rear than usual, and that some midgame forges might go unused...

Oh right...and nothing is acid immune so creeping horrors are gonna suck. I wonder if I could have skipped out on eye for detail...it's not like false floors affect me that much as an artistry smith. Probably 4-5 perception on top of taur-nu-fuin would have been enough. Oops.
