Started up a Edain on a whim. It's amazing how not smithing gives you so much flexibility. False floors aren't as scary. You can freely go up and down stairs. And you have the XP to actually grab combat skills and stats.

I've gotten used to 3 strength, but it may have been smarter to put that stat point towards grace instead. I'm just worried once I hit Easterling depth that I won't be able to damage them through their armour if I only had 2 strength. Then again I haven't tried much of spears, daggers, glaives, and short swords.

3 con I feel is a must though for pure combat builds. 34 health isn't a lot. If you get crit, lack a resist come mid-game, or get hit by a troll/giant, that could be most of your life bar. HP lower than 34 feels a bit too RNG dependent for my tastes.

I'm not sure how long I can coast on 6 melee - 8 evasion, but I want to work towards loremaster next...will mess with it more later.
