Typical melee hack and slash build as of now. Haven't played one in a while.

I learned this run that artefacts can drop on 100 feet. I don't know if it's possible for them to drop even earlier, on 50 feet. I was quite surprised to learn they dropped at 100 feet at all.

The artefact gave me exchange places, but made me panic in battle (which I assume means fear). I don't think I will use it regularly, maybe if I get surrounded as a swap item.

Just found the broken sword of amras. What a strange artefact. I'm not really in need of the perception and stealth bonus it provides, but flame brand means it's 2d5 instead of 1d5, and at only 1 lb, I'm sure I can get quite a few crits off. Perhaps subtlety would be worth it...?

I'm expecting more artefacts later in the dungeon though, so I don't know if I should base my build around what is still at its core a broken blade. I don't like subtlety as well, for the reason that there are things with critical resist later on, and being overreliant on crits might come back to bite me later.
