i had a really dumb idea right before bed. it's actually turned out well. didn't realize there was a stat drain on the horns though. and i haven't needed it yet.

used all my healing consumables. is there a way to draw a spider out without stepping in the web?

also what other effects does light have? i know that light sensitive monsters get various penalties; but what specifically? also, i recall a post that strong light causes all monsters too flee, not just vulnerable ones.

The morale effects are in the manual (& it's against trolls/orcs/late spiders/wraiths). For the evasion/accuracy see Scatha's post on the last Sil comp. It's also your resist against shadows, whispering shadows & darkness breath.

Re Spider Webs: Stepping into them wearing a source of FA, stepping into them with high str or stepping into them & hitting them with a horn of terror are the only ways I know.

hey that person looks famaliar. wolfbane by itself probably did that.

Yep was still learning to use fear at the time, is possible light did zero to scare those wolves. On the other hand it's worth remembering with fear that light sensitive or not, most things like to hide in the dark. If you really want to push things far away you'll need a big light.
