Now I have a new problem, in a bit under 900 turns I will need song of trees just to see. Not good when you're trying to sneak. Double not good when you need the voice for elbereth in an emergency.

Plan went out the window & I resorted to a new more simple plan. Don't die in the next ten minutes or so.
