Status report:
Including the arena acquirement,i had gained 3 scrolls of acquirements all in all!
I made my way to Rhyley,and let me tell you,I got lucky I didn't die.I got ambushed at every corner.One double move from a fastitokilan or a greater kraken and I'd be deadder than dead (-500 hp,anyone?).Luckily,teleportation was kind to me.Upon arriving in Rhyley I recited those 3 scrolls quickly,and behold!

As of now,i got 15 base speed totally,and an arsenal of wands and staffs for survival.

i lost all of my staff of healings,my staff of power and holiness too.all i got left now is my staff of mana storm....
but my damage also has grown tremendously.the psychic whip at higher levels just kills,mercilessly.

mana thrust just sucks at this point.but i see how it would be strong,with clarity combined.alas,i lack the stats now.....

but i am biding my time :-D

psions are VERY strong.but to unleash their power you have to use a tactic consisting of "whip,blink,channel mana,repeat(*99).

also,wizard staves and economic mana dont work for them,i dont know if its a bug or not.

all in all,the focus on channel mana made this class too annoying

It was nice, it was awesome. The only regret I have, is that I was unable to create my dream kit of the Iron crown of Beruthiel and PDSM. But I was insanely strong already, so it would have been just a "cosmetic" improvement.

Personally when I played a psion I found Ego Whip to be really useless in the early game, trying to kill things that were resistant to my elemental blasts like Radiant Kavus. But maybe it's just the lower level whips that are weak -- it seems like you were mostly using level V, while I gave up on it when i could only just about cast Whip III. I believe the chance to actually stick to a monster scales very heavily with both spell level and casting stat.
