The story:
Got myself back in business after possessing a Sabre-tooth tiger (from Old Man Willow's quest) to mow down several quests and then switching to a Logrus master (from the Logrus master quest itself) from clvl 24 onwards. I managed to successfully complete the Sting quest within the 2 hour mark as well. It was doable given my timely use of my abundant Speed Potions and Healing comsumables along with the Logrus master's innate speed and Stealth.
