The story:
Another promising Hugo$oul on the rise that decided to go with the Fearless personality and it paid off given the innate Fear resistance. The start was a bit crazy with me getting relentlessly bombarded by monsters while possessing The wounded bear and Earth hound forms. Particularly at clvl 9, I had a close call in the wilderness north of Outpost, where I nearly got killed by a group of Fire hounds with just 0 HP remaining. Once I possessed a Sabre-tooth tiger at clvl 17, adventuring became smooth-sailing, even though I barely survived the initial seconds of possessing it. Up to now, I completed a handful of the usual town quests. Hey, it's even more fun now that I have +15 Base Speed.

It's the 3 hour mark and I'm now at clvl 30. I completed a few more town quests and then stayed at the Glass castle screwing around and beating up monsters. I had some close calls there. Having the Logrus master's body, procured at clvl 25 in the Glass castle, and this awesome Mattock of Disruption (3d8) alternating with this Vampiric randart Dagger 'Laplace's Devil' were helpful in keeping me alive at the Glass castle. Oh yeah, I found the Stone of Lore during my venture. :)

It's the 8 hour mark and I'm at clvl 37 and still using that Logrus master. I went ahead to complete the Cloning Pits. Most of it wasn't that bad, except for a Father Dagon that nearly killed me, the Queen Ants, and Its. I received Aragorn's boots as the Cloning Pits reward, which was fair. After that, I recalled back to the Arena dungeon for even more fun.

Looks I'll have to find a replacement for my Logrus master once my clvl hits 38.

The story:
It's the 9 hour mark and I'm at clvl 38, still going strong battling it out at the Arena dungeon. Since the Logrus master's time had run out, I switched to something else... a Storm troll. The Storm troll is strong and has decent Magical Device ability, but has Very Bad Stealth and lacks Healing spells. I think I'll consider switching to an Elder giant or Nidhog later on. And another thing: my Lead-Filled Mace (Chaos) (3d4) activates to Summon Cyberdemon!!!

11 hour mark:
Currently at clvl 40 possessing Walken doing 501 "Shatter" damage with AC 124, +13 Base Speed, 572/572 HP, 249/249 mana, and 452667 Au.

The story:
It's the 11 hour mark and I'm still alive at clvl 40. I went on a Possession spree, trying out different bodies. Ulfang and Gorlim were already crappy. The Maulotaur was so-so...my damage numbers were nothing crazy. I was actually disappointed with the Master mystic and Grand master mystic, mainly because my hits were not stunning the Great *Dragon* Wyrms in the Arena dungeon, or were they more likely to resist stunning? My melee damage was not more than ~350 combined, or maybe I expected too much? And my CHR was way too low (not even 18!!), affecting my mana reserves, in which I barely had over 100 mana at the time. Santa claus had only +6 (???) speed when possessed and didn't have Healing either. The Elder fire giant was clearly the best option, imo, among those listed. But for now, I'm using Walken, who is basically a weak version of Ulik the Troll. I think I might switch to an Elder giant again or go for Nidhogg. The only thing keeping me from using Nidhogg is the lack of a Staff of Healing and the general lack of Potions of Healing or better.

I did go a bit deeper in the Arena dungeon. Max Arena dungeon depth is now 60. I collected more goodies, as anticipated. Big names include - Kamikaze Warrior, Shiva's Avatar boots, Shield of Perseus, Cesti of Fingolfin, and Zantetsuken

I tried more battles at the Telmora Arena. But, I lost to the Nightwalker. :(
