Lucky finds of 2x =1d2 protection and Fingolfin's Shield were ideal for a tank build. The combo of Aeglos and Glend takes care of anything I've met so far with a }Nargothrond as a bonus.

Had to spend a lot of xp on perception to open a very stuck chest. Good to have perception anyway and it turned out to contain 3x !healing. Not bad at all.

Tevildo got me confused and before I got that sorted out I was surrounded by cats and Troll Guards. Always walked around with the shield and sword instead of Glend except for at this point. That may very well have been the cause for this death.

I would have lived one more round at least, likely more than that now that I wasn't confused.

Sticking with Aeglos + Fingolfin (saving the swap turn) and then quickness + rage probably would have been a better idea. :) Your melee probably would have done crits to Troll Guards, which would have been 3d12ish anyways. The rest of the things have hardly any protection, you just need to hit them.

Yeah, the problem was I had just killed a large number of Troll Guards and forgot to swap back. Glend took them down faster and it was not very dangerous as long as I kept moving around.
