Up to now, it has been a very uneventful attempt. No great forms popped up until very late. Played for a long time as a Dark-elven Priest (pit around 500ft), then Bloodletter of Khorne (pack around 1800ft), then Barbazu (pack around 2750ft). Things became better as 2850ft-3050ft appeared to be Erebor theme, with all its juicy dragons. Now I have most basic dragon forms for immunities (ancient blue/white/black/green), and AMHD as main form (with preferred immunity set to immfire). No fancy themes afterwards, just plain Paths of the Dead, Dol Guldur and Angband, made the game a little easier.

Cash was not a problem till now. Found quite good items to sell in each of the first three towns and managed to buy the basic items for survival (only missing rDisen right now). I've built a more magic-oriented character for the first 4000ft: gloves of the Magi and Magic skilled to 19 for extra MP, mostly killing stuff with Power Blast (with Astral skilled at 40 and clvl 38, the spell does 351 damage against all and is unresistable, easily competing against 6 bpr in melee with +40 todam).

Now I am in the last town with over 700k to spend, and two big problems: low AC, and full ESP missing. To build a more melee-oriented character (gloves of power, =EA or =dam), I need more AC... otherwise it would be suicidal because of those hard hitters. Concerning full ESP, it will be extremely hard (even impossible) to buy a full ESP item in town: these are either outrageously priced (probably around 1 million $ in BM), or simply too rare (random 10% chance of having a random ESP, which can be full ESP, on a crown of seeing). The only alternative I got is to use Beruthiel, at the cost of 4 points of STR/DEX/CON (but would fix my rDisen problem).

Then it's gonna be a matter of diving as deep as I can with the little supplies I can carry with an expert in unarmed combat (MA skill limits the weight you can carry without getting severe penalties).

Thats something what I should also rely on, not just hang into shops like crazy to cover all resists and other things. Maybe just a few swap resistance rings could cope up those hours of waiting.
