So I started a Finarfin polearmer and found some nice loot - I don't think I've ever gotten this many good finds this early. And I'm even on a floor with a forge. Wondering what next? I was planning to try to get Controlled Retreat early-ish. Was going to get a little stealth to help pick battles and possibly Exchange Places, but I think the heavy Corslet of Gundor probably changes that. Should I melt the Kite Shield?

Controlled retreat is great w/ polearms. I wouldn't melt a perfectly fine shield (unless for lamps).
