I decided to try forging two rings of accuracy and an amulet of regen with a 2435 Fingolfin, grab Mind Over Body for free, and get sprinting.

With regen + sprinting, I can stay alive pretty easily. I'm having a hard time actually killing stuff, though. The easterlings especially are giving me a lot of trouble. I took polearm mastery because a Heavy Spear was the first decent weapon I found, and now I'm regretting it. I'm wondering if I should just grab Power and switch to building for the Axe of Gondolin instead (even with 1 strength right now). I'm getting close to the point where my good characters tend to die, so I need to decide on some direction.

I've been just dumping all my points into extra Melee, but I know that's can only sustain me for so long.

Also, what about those gloves of treachery? Do I keep them or should I get Curse Breaker? Song of Elbereth seems like it might go well with them.

Elbereth is fun with opportunist & is generally handy anyways. You've already got jeweller, so if you can find a forge and build a horn of terror you'll be able to make anything that isn't a horror run & just continually backstab things. Of course continuing to pump melwe/evasion will also work.

If you ID your staffs you might discover you already have sanctity. Gloves of treachery are quite good, so certainly not requiring curse breaker. Slaying spears are great weapons when used against their main demographic. (Even without polearm mastery.)

I would try to ID the greaves, if not put them away. Un-IDed special greaves are dangerous.

Well, I found a forge and tried making a horn of terror, got killed by a giant and some orcs shortly after. I still don't have much experience using horns, so I didn't really know what I was doing - I thought it might be a replacement for Song of Elbereth and then I realized it's more of a supplement. I tried grabbing Elbereth at the last minute, but it was too late to save me.

I do like this Fingolfin regen + sprinting build though. Might it be better to try forging sustenance instead of one of the accuracy rings and saving the free will ability for something else next time though? Then again, Mind Over Body would be better in the long term when I start accumulating more rings with limited slots...What do you think?

Or maybe just go Feanor if I'm doing Sustenance instead of Mind Over Body, I guess.
