*WHY* THE HELL DIDN'T I NOTICE THESE OPPORTUNITIES BEFORE!?

I started the game with
STR 16
INT 6
WIS 6
DEX 14
CON 9
CHR 7
and 272 gold

Stat upgrades
STR 18/40 @ clvl 5 in Green naga form
STR 18/70 @ clvl 10 in Green naga form
STR 18/97 @ clvl 15 in Green naga/Energy hound form
STR 18/110 @ clvl 20 in Water hound form

Green naga [clvl 2, near Icky cave entrance] (clvl 2 - 15)
-> Energy hound [clvl 15, wilderness north of Outpost] (clvl 15 - 17)
-> Earth hound [clvl 17, wilderness north of Outpost] (clvl 17 - 18)
-> Water hound [clvl 18, swamp north of Outpost] (clvl 18? - now)

25 min mark:
Currently at clvl 20 possessing a Water hound doing 85 combined melee damage, AC 51, Zero Base Speed, 209 MaxHP, 56 mana, and 190 gold

A good start, though I'd rather want a Sabre-tooth tiger instead of the Water hound.

Close calls:
1) Just after possessing my 1st Green naga, a Lizard king approached me from 6 o'clock. I was able to escape with a 20% failure rate Teleportation scroll. Whew!
2) I was on verge of procuring an Earth hound corpse, but I had to bail because my HP dropped into the 10s with a nearby full health Earth hound. I used a Teleportation scroll and eneded up near a group of Energy hounds. I used the another Teleportation Scroll (last one) and healed myself before killing a Panther in view.

Key finds
