Smaugy and the CP down, both fairly easily. The pits was mildly annoying due to lack of Chaos resistance, but nothing too noteworthy. An Ice Giant softened up the Queens for me, which was nice.

Speed is my major limitation now. Oh, and resists. But on the bright side, I'm sporting +63 damage from my gear.

Reforging has been frustrating with no teleport, a darkness lamp and no magic on 3 of my first 4 attempts (about 500K each). Glaurung saved the day with the nice racial boss reward which was quickly followed by a decent dragon cloak. I was CL40 with 6 resistance holes before that (LiDkCaSoShDi) and now I just need CaDi. More reforging, I guess. Lamp or Ring? Lamp makes more sense now, but I'll be wanting to use the Jewel later. Perhaps even Laputa too.

Lore is a pretty sweet choice for a dragon. Not only do you get all the convenience powers (detection, identify, etc) you also get innate telepathy, decreased XP requirements and, probably most importantly of all, nice device skills. I'm still playing for superb melee with 3 stellar combat rings. I don't quite have enough speed yet, so I'll probably break down for a second ring of speed for the end game. This will hurt a bit since my breath will be resisted by many of the end game monsters: Oberon and the Serpent in particular.

Nearly 3 Mgp down the rabbit hole in search of a rod of healing, but didn't get any. So my next 1.78 Mgp went into a reforge of Julian. It doesn't look that great and was probably dumb if the Jewel ever shows up, but the speed and stealth allow me to achieve end game speed with only 1 ring of speed. Next up is Thanos for 2 Mgp and then I'll probably poor the rest of my gold into rod gambling for healing. I can't seem to find staves this game for some reason and my resists are not good enough to protect them. 5 healings is OK for most battles, but not nearly enough for some of the big boys.

Tiamat dropped an anti-summoning amulet, the first one I've ever found but, alas, it also disrupts my magic. Tempting even still, but we'll see how my last amulet reforge goes.

What dragons would do without reforging? I've had very poor luck with good resistance jewelry, so I'd probably be stuck, I guess.

Thinning out the elite herd: Cerberus, Shub-Niggurath, Typhoeus, Loki, et. al. I've managed triple immunity, so just one more ring to go. Dragonkind was a dud reforge (1.7 Mgp) but Dragonlance (2.1 Mgp) turned out much nicer. That's a weapon I'd really like to use one of these days so I guess I better start playing riding classes.
