Currently at clvl 19 mimicking a Lizardman doing 53 Normal damage, with AC 46, +1 Base Speed, 174 MaxHP, and zero mana.

Trying to get another good Mimic DopperHugo going. This run was a bit tedious given that I didn't have any uber-strong weapons at the beginning and my melee damage was in the 60s at best. The only monster I learned was the Lizardman and that was it. Nothing else stuck. But hey, this one (DopperHugo 51) did find the Stone of Lore at Labyrinth 16, dropped by Meng Huo. Me finding the Stone of Lore regardless = invariable post to the ladder!

Key items:
1) a Stone {unidentified, Labyrinth 16, Meng Huo} <-most likely the Stone of Lore
2) Leather Scale Mail of Elvenkind (-1) [11,+13] (+2 to stealth) {Cf, Near Labyrinth entrance, Semagol} <-has basic 4 elemental resistances + confusio resistance!
3) a Ring of Combat (+13,+5) {cursed, Wilderness north of Outpost, ?monster}
4) The Hard Leather Cap of Sam (+1,+1) [2,+7] (+1) {Thieves quest}

Recalled to town to clean-up: restore stats and get rid of the curse on the Brass Lantern so that I can use the Stone of Lore. :)
