Gave the Scout a try...and I have no clue what I'm doing.

Stating out, I leveled up by fighting weak wilderness opponents -- Novice mindcrafters, for example and scummed for a few wilderness encounters for rooms with the chest. At clvl 5, I put the stat gain on STR. Soon enough, I did the Thieves quest, I found an Iron Helm of the Kobold making my life easier.

It seems that every time I'm away from a "doorway" my AC drops by a huge amount.
