"Dexterity" Build - mostly Melee/Evasion to start, then some Stealth (with Assassination to weaponize it), then eventually some archery in the midgame to help getting extra hits in and for the Dex point. Some Will in the middle/lategame for poison resistance and the Con. Lucked out with early Gundor, which helped me smack around things with 2-handers (mostly Dramborleg) until I specialized into 1-hand stabbings.

An earlyish Ring of Damage eventually convinced me that Angrist is pretty much the most broken weapon in the game with a correct build; the ability to cut through all armor and the low weight nullifies the negatives to Rapid Attack almost entirely, and 2x1d7 is more than enough to kill everything rapidly with critical modifiers. To illustrate, I forgot to unwear the Ring of Melian in lieu of another Ring of Damage, forgot to take follow-through for the throneroom and still managed to murder the improved Morgoth using only 3-4 healing items and stat/speed potions. Being able to just waltz up and stab the first mature dragon I saw to death was quite the catharsis as well.

I did not do the math, but I believe you could have stabbed the dragon to death just as well with a simple 1lb shortsword without sharpness.
