Had some trouble ~600ft: There was only a downshaft available (which I took) and I was cornered by a creeping horror, so I took a chasm to 800ft. Would have died from two troll guard packs if not for two !dex and !quick, and Orcrist. I think I'm stabilizing though, so as long as I don't get cornered or have a nasty runin with a unique, I should be alright.
