Should have put on my shield, but an easterling archer shot me through my hauberk for 20 damage, not bad. I looked at the dungeon map after and decided I'd rather be dead than play through that map, there were a zillion things there and most of them were easterling archers.

So far, pretty interesting, and I haven't really got to the good stuff yet. I didn't use leaping once despite these neat boots, but might have been nice if a chasm appeared during my escape. I also didn't see a single orc warrior charge me, but the easterlings flanking and the troll knockback was very noticeable.

Also, I'm finding a ton of good stuff. Sample size of 1, but I was seriously finding crazy good weapons and items everywhere, on this level where I died there was a mithril greatsword just lying on the floor. I found 2 longbows of radiance, several defender weapons, a spear of the vanyar, and just look at my inventory...
