My first ever character to hit 500'.
I am really nervous.

I took: Power, Parry, Lorekeeper, Armoursmith, Jeweler, Enchantment, Inner Light.

Equippment Highlights so far: Greater Helm of True Sight, Amulut of Grace <+1> and a Long Sword of Gondolin.

Made me some light and good armor...

Died to a snow troll... Should not have fought him melee. That Con Stat drain is too hard... Damn you, violet worm masses!

There's really no point in taking enchantment with jeweler. Jeweler lets you make magic rings, and enchantments only apply to armor and weapons.

Armorsmith and artistry, or armorsmith and enchantment are good smithing starts, or you could just take jeweler. If you have high grace and some extra smithing, you could make +2 rings with the exp you'd save by forgoing enchantment.

Good going. Longsword of Gondolin + shield would have been marginally better against trolls. Low con on a melee character can be painful, I would try for a build with 4 con at start such as 2543, that leaves you 3 even when drained.

Try to get artifice there is a world of difference between the options available then as compared to the options you get by artistry / enchantment.

(As you can't explore smithing menu without it is probably unavoidable that first smithing characters take more abilities than they have to.)
