Despite comments elsewhere, and despite multiple deaths so far, I'm finding this character much easier than any Sil character I've built myself. Draw your own conclusions.

It is probably the high damage that helps out.

You dived very fast and wear heavy armour and soon you will have enemies that hit you for critical hits while you will have trouble to hit them at all. I would really switch to your nice studded leather armour, maybe the boots and drop the gauntlets. (For a net difference of 3 melee and 4 (!) evasion, you will still have 3-9 protection and the shield + axe combination as swap when you need to increase protection.)

Died shortly after the previous dump. While, comparing to everyone else, it does look like I dived quickly, it's hard for me to judge. In my experience, you're always one false move or piece of bad fortune away from depth, no matter how fast you descend.
