Haven't gotten very far, although further than I've ever gotten with an Edain before. The comp's extra starting exp really helps. Found a couple of nice pieces of equipment. The corslet in particular has been a life-saver. With such low HP I thought high-protection would be the way to go. Took Momentum so I could do good damage with a longsword+shield to get the higher toHit and extra protection that offers. Don;t know exactly where to go from here, but it's a fun ride so far.

Had so many things go right for this char that I'm sure I'm going to die a horrible death any time. now. Finding Anglachel early was huge. I've loaded up on high protection gear, which has worked out well so far. I think taking Critical Resistance was probably a mistake; should have just used that exp to boost my evasion instead. And taking Polearm Mastery was definitely a mistake. I really wanted Zone of Control, and was remembering all the fun times I've had with polearms. But I should have taken Finesse instead. The decision to go with 10 points of Archery has worked well for me, but does exacerbate the inventory problems. Really hoping to find a Feanorian lamp soon. Been burning Treasure charges without success so far.

Incredibly stupid pig-headed death. I became convinced that the character was strong enough to kill Morgoth, even after things went horribly wrong in the Throne Room. I had plenty of opportunities to grab a Siilmaril and leave (indeed, I even cut out the first Silmaril at one point), but I kept trying to get the kill, eventually running out of consumables, getting surrounded by rubble, and dying. I was so annoyed with myself that I failed to take the final character dump.
Still time to try again I suppose.

My condolences.

How strong were you in the throne room? You probably improved quite a bit from 800 ft. to 1000 ft.

I had a couple more points of melee, but mostly I bought skills: Rapid Attack, Opportunist, Exchange Places, Song of Slaying, Sharpness, Woven Themes, Unwavering Voice. I figured that with a Sharp weapon, and Song of Sharpness, and the Slaying bonus, and Rapid Attack, I would be able to do serious damage. And I did. But I didn't have the Evasion or HP needed to go toe-to-toe with Morgoth for long enough, and Grond pretty much blanketed the floor with pits and rubble making it hard to move.
