Boots with Exchange Places? Something to cover a resistance or two? Or just a point of strength from a slot that won't usually grant it, to help the Knockback efforts?

Good luck with the wall-charging!

Should have listened to scatha, lost my throwing axes when retreating. Now on the next forge with one more point in smithing. I am feeling pathetic, but I seriously consider making plain 1d2 free action boots as artefact.

I am far too slow... leading to low experience and general uneasiness. Wonder whether I can still make it.

I always find with naugrim that I really want big accuracy rings near this stage of the game... your life might actually be easier if you swap your +2 evasion for another +2 (or larger) acc and maybe try to wear some bigger armor. With 4d10 on charge, you should be able to kill most things as long as you can hit them, and this is the absolute worst depth for things with high evasion.

I might consider diving to 900' at this point. Aside from vampires (which don't come in packs), most things aren't much harder to hit than what you're dealing with now.

Also, making an amulet of Con could help a lot I imagine

I was usually using the longsword with the shield so far, 2d10 and 2d13 on charge, I just took the hammer for a shadow. But maybe it is time to switch to a heavier weapon now.

May have been worth switching to the shield and then the nargo axe here... :(
