Worse thing was running out of light for two levels! Never had that happen before. Had to rely on my longbow of radiance... until I realised I had a spear of the vanyar which helped until I found another lantern. I've also had loads of problems with Shadow spiders, bats, worms and horrors - I so miss keen senses and inner light!

At one point I was blind, poisoned, bleeding stuck between shadow spiders and werewolves. Used all my consumables and the last bleeding counter left on me on 1HP. A little too close for comfort.

Game has changed dramatically since finding Saithnar.
