Since then Werewolves gave me some close calls but I've otherwise been okay. I'm being pushed down by the turn clock, so I won't have the time to forge vast amounts of gear, but I think I have chances.

The Elessar has been useful for me for quick recovery of health and more importantly voice. In fact just now I've been in fights where I run almost out of voice, so slip past the enemy, stop Singing, and retreat for a few turns to gain enough voice for Mastery and Sharpness to finish the job.

Fear isn't so bad, but do you stop singing when you're confused?

Regen is super powerful with song, I discovered. I kept my regen amulet as a swap.

Oh yeah, and if you get that far -- watch out for nameless things. They're actually really dangerous to this build if they get a hit in, and it's hard to predict where they're going to move / when they're going to attack you.

Maeglin was harder, but you have sharpness so it should be easier for you.

Although, your evasion and protection are both worse than mine were... I'd definitely drink !Con before each fight if you can afford it, just to give you some wiggle room if things go badly.

Do you have a plan for the escape? My escape with this character type was so bad that I just gave up out of sheer boredom (you probably saw it). I would say you could probably get a sil right now without much trouble, so your equipment should probably be targeted more towards the escape (maybe something that gives speed or exchange places, or both)

I subdued Delmereth, and thought therefore I'd go with that and a shield. I'll note I put about 3 more points into melee at the beginning of the ascent, to make killing things faster, but this was totally unnecessary.

Overall I was very strong. Morgoth didn't get a turn to act when adjacent to me, and he fell reasonably quickly too.

Things which made this build strong:

- Song of Mastery. Obviously the cornerstone of the build. By the end I couldn't really take on anything without it.

- High Grace. As well as caring about all four Grace-based skills, high Grace is the route to very high Voice. In turn the very high Voice score meant I could basically sing all of the time.

- Woven Themes. Song of Sharpness was a great second song here, but Elbereth (or Slaying?) instead would still have been good. Even when I first got this, a minor theme of Sharpness was halving their protection, and by the late game I didn't notice armour at all.

Listen was great as a route to not bothering about light radius. Smithing was very good at giving me powerful items as I needed them. But these were subsidiary to the above.

I used the Longsword of Shadows against Morgoth, to be sure my Song was high enough. I used Aranruth most of the way up, for the extra light radius.

My damage was actually easily high enough: about 2x(+33,2d11) with Concentration and a potion of Strength. Even as a minor theme, Sharpness meant he would only get about 2 from his protection typically.
