I'm quite new, here my first decent game.

You may have been hit by a violet worm -- they drain strength. You can get your strength back by drinking a potion of strength or eating a herb of restoration.

If you're new to the game, I'd slow down a bit -- your min depth was 200' but you were all the way at 450' already, with some pretty shoddy equipment :)

Also, try to relax with buying so many abilities, and learn how to play with just spending points mostly in melee and evasion. It helps a lot when you're learning!

Thanks a lot.

I'm not sure to understand about the deep, normally i take the first down/ladder i find, is a bad strategy? Maybe i must explore the level or something?

You really want to get as powerful as possible with appropriate abilities to survive deeper levels without getting killed and, of course, wipe out or avoid the monsters that hang around in those depths.

Using the Tutorial is a good start and will help you get accustomed to how Sil works. Diving in Sil without prep to say, 500ft, can be fun, but very scary, and *way different* than in Angband or its other variants (PosChengband, FAAngband, etc.)
