Well.. i had this character off to a really good start... then the crap fell through. I rolled a 18/72 int at starting, which was an uber mage stat.. i explored alot, then i say a gelatinous cube. after figuring out it resisted everything, i zapped it with a wand of wonder, unfortunately, something else got in the way, and polymorphed into a Demonic Q.. i tried to skirt around it, but it summoned a few death quasits, which made short work of her (3 curses and i was dead)

on another note, i went through this whol game here without ever seeing the 4th mage book in the store, or the dungeon.. i dunno why the RNG was baiting me so, because i coulda learned 10 spells.
