This was a 'perfect' character, who got killed by a Shadow when I thought it was just a Salrauko.

I went TOO fast to not realize something was 'touching.'

By the way, I didn't encounter 'lack of hunger' issues in this game. With the other guy, I was moving around to recover HP and not resting to recover. That explains it, I think.

Do you always go two-handed as soon as possible? I think we both play warrior types, you so more than me, and I never go two hand if at all until late game. Glend usually doesnt even tempt me at 600-650'. I just can't stomach the loss of shield protection & lower melee bonus that most two-handers have. That was a nice bastard sword.

For me, I *always* go for two-handed weapons the minute I see them on the ground, and this is very typical of me and recognized as my Hugo-playstyle

Ah! I recognize the melee/ev/will only, or thereabouts, as the quintessential Hugo. I've only just noticed the 2h part.
