Hmm, Aling was very promising but met a frosty death, frightened and cold, under a dragon.

So I started anew based on the recommedations I got for Aling.
This time boosting fighting skills first with plan to later (perhaps time now) build stealth. Only problem is that this character feels rather powerful, that tends to be dangerous in this game. But I am impressed by her ability to survive tough fights including a fight in the spot where a corridor opens to a room with Thuringwetil from one direction and Gwathrauko from the other plus hoards of minor foes. Herbs of rage are handy in such moments. Thought I killed the little v, but she seems to be alive so I guess she just fled. Left level in an upstair shortly after.
Biggest difference is light level, had 4 for most of last game and 5 in the last few levels! Now only 1 entire game.

What now? More fighting skills or stealth?

Songs I will probably get later, would like sharpness.

Wait, what? How the heck did Thuringwethil appear at 450'?!?! That seems... not right. I'm also confused about the Gwathrauko, those should have roflstomped you at 450'. Were you carrying like 4 sources of Danger???

LOL @ that XP pool

Darkness and poison are going to be a huge problem for you very soon unless you go stealth. If I were you, I might dump everything into stealth now and take Disguise (that's it). Crowd fighting was sort of a weird choice for evasion, but no biggy. Dodging and sprinting will be nice in the near future.

This character is strong for 550' but will get curbstomped at 750'+, so be careful. Don't forget you have Stealth Mode -- use it as necessary. Stay close to walls and corners as well.

I might actually have taken a bit less evasion if I was going stealth, but that ends up being very glass-cannony lol

Have fun!

I was two levels deeper. Backed up since then. But yes, I did have a source of danger, a shield I picked up very early.
Best upgrade in the game when I replaced it with the current with both rFire and rCold.

But I'm thinking now I must have been seeing visions, because it still does not make sense. There were several monsters I did not care too much about, I guess some of them made me see visions.

In my opinion, Crowd Fighting is ALWAYS good to have, whether you need it or not. At least, your life will be a little easier if you get surrounded by Wargs or Cat warriors.
