Best try in a while. Not comfortable at this depth but I like the combo of sprint and exchange places. Ccould really make good use of a good source of cold and fire resistance and some healing pots now.

Good going, and that's a lovely longsword. It might be better than Dagmor for general use; I'm not sure.

Just a warning that fire resistance is a lot more crucial than cold resistance in the late game. Good luck.

Thanks.

I don't fight much with Damor, I just use it for the extra light. I find that helpful and my stealth is good enough to allow me to swap weapons before fighting

Be careful with Fury weapons. They can cause aggravation.

Finally found a smithy guarded by a few cat warriors and a cave troll. A small fight that went badly, I was backing slowly and fell into a spiked pit. Had the stealth boots on, not the free action ones. I still was close, but with a troll in front of you while in a pit is not first time I lose.

Whoa, does free action auto-rescue you from pits and webs?

You did very well, by the way. IMO for most builds, 600'-800' is the "oh shit" part. If you can survive to 900', you can generally rack up enough experience to give yourself a fighting chance.

One thing you might want to try is savescumming a character repeatedly from 600' to become accustomed to the kinds of monsters and challenges you find down there.

Good luck with the next one!

I'm most intrigued by the build. It looks like you have a bit of everything going on. 10/3/9/9/7/7/4/2 with 14 abilities. I was hoping you would pull it off to showcase how a master of none could win. There might be others on the ladder, but yours is the first I've noticed where there is so much going on at this point in the game.
