After a little break, decided to try this again. I know the point is to grab the Silmarils but just don't feel right not killing Morgoth so maybe this guy might have a chance. Well, probably not but might get lucky. Got a nice collection of consumables, just need to work on getting my dmg up and better protection.

With Con 7 I was a bit surprised you went down so quickly, but I suppose you were lacking fire resistance, which is definitely the most important. Had you found anything which would have granted that? A dwarf mask?

Also: can you give more details of the death? Did you die in one round, or just not able to escape? Was there anything you think you could have done in retrospect, or was it unfair?

Found a dwarf mask but it got ate by acid. Pretty much died by stupidity. Wasn't paying attention, charged into a room full of drakes/serpents plus some trolls and couple other things. Trying to make a strategic retreat to a better position I ended up surrounded. So it was my fault, nothing unfair really.
