Trying to start a build with Song of Trees and archery, under the reasoning that light is supposed to be inimical to orcs and should therefore help with the early levels. Haven't managed to get past 400' or so in twenty tries so far, where I usually die to trolls or poison. (Once I escaped to another level with something like HP 16, poison 17.) If you're going to fight everything as an archer though (ie low stealth and no melee), you might want to think about how you will maintain your arrow supply.
