The only reason I'm posting this is to show off my deathblade. +10, that has to be the record, right?!

My character looks pretty damn sloppy because, well, I was just dicking around having fun when mucking with a sort of high evasion/high protection concept when this weapon comes along and makes me want to completely redesign my character. I'm maybe 1 hour and a few minutes invested.

By the way, I have come across three levels in a row with an abnormally high amount of rubble.

I think you had a 0.1% chance of getting a melee bonus that high (0.5^10)

Wow. That is indeed one in a thousand (and twenty four). I think only some of Psi's most debauched moments prevent that from being the best weapon we've had in the game. Depending on how much you're hitting by, it could even be good for you to turn off Power.

Lol, yeah, a 63 lb. corslet. Well, I was playing by whim and once I had Glend I started going shield-less and was trying to make up the protection loss. I had left the Rumil gloves on the damn ground. Then I come across this weapon, and I'm like... go get the gloves and try to learn this subtlety thing. I have never had any luck with subtlety, lightish weapons. I still have 2 uses on the forge I can burn, but I dunno what I'd make. Let's see how I screw this one up!

I've only ever seen a huge boost from subtlety on high-stealth assassination type characters who were geared up to do massive damage to unwary creatures. I'm sure it has a nice effect in regular combat too, I just haven't noticed it much when I've played it that way.

Noes! The most horriblest of calamaties. Well, almost. I forgot to email myself the character. How will I stay distracted at work today?! Dammit. And I have company at home... when will I get the chance to play again? Maybe I will pull the anti-social card tonight.

We should add a hidden div to html dumps that basically barf the entire gamestate as an ASCII blob right into the character sheet. That way, if you forget to email your save, you can download your ladder chardump and play from there :) haha

Another loss in a string of colossal failures. The absurdly awesome +10 deathsword was my doom. I played too quickly to be so uncomfortable. After I got disarmed by a unique Balrog... I decided good riddance to good rubbish. But, I then went on to play very sloppily.

I might revisit the heavier than usual artistry start. I got to wondering why I went light with evasion bonuses in the first place... and thought I would try some heavy armor artists.
