So, my (so far pacifist) character is turning out in an interesting fashion. Chose finarfin for grace and perception. But the important thing, found angrist. Accompaniment is a joke which is not hurting me. I'm selective about what I wear - stealth is key. I'm considering two approaches - assasination, finesse, if I get rid of accompaniment, then subtlety, focused attack and just stab people to death, or just pump stealth, take sprinting and run for my life all the time. Preferably my stealth should be high enough to safely take the -4 to stealth from Lorien, how high is that? Anything in the other trees I might want to take? What about the crown? I understand sleeping him knocks it off, is angrist and my meager combat skills enough?

Pacifism wasn't a choice, more a necessity. The gloves serve no purpose whatsoever, but weigh 0.5 pounds and could come in handy.

My notes section is amusing, to say the least. This is a delightfully boring character, who is ridiculously fun to play!

Looks fun!

Angrist will leave you with no problems for the crown, if you're happy with just the one bauble.

I'd guess that going the pacifist approach might be best for you at this point. But assassination could work if you're selective about your targets (perhaps heading back up a little if needed).

The gloves could be handy if you stumble into a web, so probably a good choice (the Staff of Freedom could also help there, but your Will is quite low so it might not work very reliably).

More Song and Stealth are always going to be helpful. For other Abilities, perhaps Woven Themes (to let you sing Silence and Lorien together); Channeling might help if you really want to be able to use staves; Exchange Places can be helpful in emergencies (but with Listen you may be able to avoid ever having to use it).

Good luck for the end.

Thanks. I was sort of planning on a couple Will abilities, like Inner light and Clarity, and Woven themes is probably a good idea if I will increase song. I will probably go pacifist in the end. Exchange Places is probably a must have. More stealth won't hurt, certainly. I might want Grace from the perception tree. It wouldn't cost too much, and Will, Perception and Song are all nice. I want more perception anyway and am considering Eye for detail to spot ways out and avoid webs and such. One bauble is well enough, thanks!

Can I be excused for killing a grotesque? It was either that or starve.

Sure you can be excused for the grotesque. It's not clear whether knocking down a statue really counts as violence anyway.

Bad luck with the cat warriors. They have high Perception, which together with moving fast and coming in packs (so they alert each other) can make it very hard for this kind of character. On the other hand they have low Will, so the Song of Lorien should work decenty.

Yes, those notes are quite amazing.
