Concentration is better than I gave it credit for recently. Enemies moving around doesn't happen as much as I remember.

I really enjoy blocking -> controlled retreat. Makes a lot of sense and opens up some nice possibilities.

There. The first win in 1.1!

The throne room even with that much stealth and silence went as if I had 0 stealth... Vanish is a waste of XP for these characters now, certainly. For some reason I had an *extremely* hard time knocking off the crown compared to my experiences in 1.0.2. I knocked it off balance with my first or second strike (normal) and then it took at least a dozen or more hits to get it off, it was enough that I managed to kill Gothmog with rage hits.

Congrats!!!

11 stealth is really very little... did Vanish work for you in 1.0.2 in these situations??? If so, that's crazy!

WTF that ring of melian... +7?!

Yeah vanish did work with that little, in the throne room it was enough to slowly pick stuff off. You would still get seen but could vanish from everything very quickly and just pull one thing with you. This time I got noticed and then everyone just came to where I ran off to.

That ring is cool, especially for someone who used tons of focused attacks!

Vanish still works with very high stealth, but things like Greater Werewolves are particularly hard to escape from now. In playtesting I did the throne room without waking everything but I did pump stealth right up.

Congratulations! Yes, the plan was to allow Vanish to work as it did before only for high stealth characters (say, total stealth in the 20s). It is now no longer a super-ability that half the characters want, and which somewhat obsoletes stealth points, but it goes well with high stealth as one response to occasionally waking things (Lorien is another...). At least that is the theory. We are glad to know it didn't make the throne room easy with only 11 stealth!

That said, special congratulations are due for having your throne room plan fail and then still getting through it!
