First non-smith or non-archer win for me.

Without smithing I had plenty of XP to play around with zone of control and riposte.

What did you use to take on Morgoth?

Congrats on another successful win/slaying. You always seem to get so much total XP, even on my characters which I kill everything I can I don't get close to 100K. My playstyle must be very inefficient in this regard.

I too have made the mistake regarding rings of warmth/frost. I find the names a bit confusing, they certainly make sense but seeing a ring of warmth, my first thought is to associate that with providing resistance to it, as many other games have such rings named like that.

@clouded - I guess its how much of everything you kill then. I tend to take down lots of Ds, Ss, Nameless Things and Silent Watchers, any Unrelenting Horrors, as many of the uniques as I can track down and of course id everything I see.

When you fight Morgoth with a character like this, do you go toe-to-toe with him and stab him every turn? Or do you back off until he goes unwary to get another Assassination off on him?

I think I tried the latter before, and it was too difficult to overcome his regen.

On 25.8.2012 17:55 Psi wrote:
@debo - the former. One assassin strike to engage V and then toe-to-toe with him.
