It has been a long time since my last post on the ladder...

Here, I have a Fingolfin house Protection-based & Melee character with only Melee, Evasion, and Will. That's right, no Stealth this time!

My current vast array of good stuff:
a Great Helm of True Sight [-1,1d4] <+3> (at 300ft)
a Helm of Defiance [+0,1d2] <+1>
a Mithril Greatsword (Defender) (-1,3d5) [+2] (from Boldog @400ft)
a Greatsword (Avenger) (-2,3d6) [+2]
a Ring of Protection [+0,1d2]
a Ring of Dexterity <+1> (at 400ft)
The Filthy Rag of Dungalef <+1> (at 600ft)
a Pair of Leather Boots of Free Action [+0,1d1]

Besides the usual Charge/Dodging/Sprinting, I also decided to pick up:
Crowd Fighting
Flanking
Follow-Through

and of course,
Power
Inner Light
Hardiness
Poison Resistance

This is the first time in a long while that I've used Flanking. So far, it's great! Once I get enough EXP (like another 7000EXP...just an approx guess) I'll use those to get Heavy Armor (with Blocking as prerequisite).

Until to get that 7000EXP, I'll play around with Dungalef (because of its Diguise & Vanish abilities!!) for a while, for now...

By the way, Flanking is *really* good, imo. If I had a better non-two-handed weapon, like Anguirrel, that would be nice...so I could wield the Kite Shield for additional protection, despite wearing Dungalef at the same time...

Upcoming goal(s) for myself:
Get Critical Resistance
Get Majesty
Get Stun
Get Knockback (maybe)
DEX point from Evasion tree
CON point from Will tree (maybe)

Have you ever had Majesty work for you? I've never seen it do anything useful until it was far too late...

Yes, before throne room, Majesty works against cat and vampire monsters, and other nuisances, just to make them easier to kill or get them away from me (from my experience). However, after throne room, it becomes less useful, if you're still trying to get EXP.

The best time to get Majesty is around 800ft, imo. This means putting points onto Will ahead of time.
