My goal with this guy is to have my final weapon be a dagger. I was drilling the endgame with a savescummer, and on one of my experiences I used a 1.0lb forged artifact shortsword (sharpness, +dex). W/ rapid attack, the damage was insane. But he had 2 base strength.

Anyhow, my plan is to pump dex out the ears and then make a 0.5lb dagger that has sharpness and other goodies. I want to see if I can cause a buffer overrun w/ the number of '!'s I inflict on unwary monsters :)

This is all very premature since he'll probably die before I find another forge lol

@Scatha -- I think I saw an artifact with SHARPNESS2 available on it -- one way to beef daggers might be to allow them to have SHARPNESS2 as an option when forging an artifact, possibly for a reasonable cost. This would differentiate them from shortswords, as they'd potentially dodge protection better but have fewer damage sides overall.

But IANAGD (I am not a game designer) :D
