Seriously nasty darkness trap I managed to land myself in. A creeping horror chased me into the corridor, where back to back shadow spiders awaited me, with nether worms behind them. Soon, the only thing on the screen was just my poor little at-man. The 600-700 stretch is rough with darkness. Shadows, shadow spiders, these lurking horror things... I'm tempted to skip from 600 to 750-800 even with ironman, unless I can find more brightness items. This was the third time this game something so dark I couldn't see pushed me to a situation where I could've died. I wish the horror hadn't chewed all my stuff to bits, I had good evasion/protection balance with free action boots.
