I'm guessing that items of freedom don't stack, as I had three and still got tranced from time to time. An ancient red dragon nearly killed me from it, and Smaug put me in a pretty bad position here with it. I didn't post my last two attempts, but they were very much like this one, they did well and had big honking two handed weapons and also died to trancing attacks around 800'. All in all, I prefer this approach to the high-critical seeking, subtlety using ones. I felt secure enough to roam around 950' and just whoop everything's ass! I don't think I had a chance against Morgoth without a better weapon though.

Another rambling, but have you considered a kind of blind-fighting ability on the melee tree, or is there already something like this? Essentially, something that halves the penalty for attacking things you can't really see? Like, a kind of probing wide sweeping attack or something, perhaps even with a damage reduction.

All in all, another fine day of dungeon exploring.

Crowd fighting probably would've saved me here. I always say I'm going to buy it but then never do.

I think 'Whirlwind Attack' is the closest to blind-fighting, that I can think of. With Whirlwind you're basically striking out anything that is surrounding you. :)

Listen serves some of the function of 'Blind-fighting', and Keen Senses another part. Nonetheless we have also thought about a separate Blind-fighting ability, but it would almost certainly go in the Perception rather than Melee tree.

Nice going with such pure style here. You're right that Free Action doesn't stack at the moment, but we will probably change it so that it does (given that most things that can stack do).
