I actually had a really bad, perhaps traumatizing, experience with a Spider of Gorgoroth, during which I did not have Free Action. Because of this, it entranced and did some triple critical hits that killed my best Finarfin house character (Celethrone) a while ago. :(

Free action also helps against webs, so it really is good against spiders. Then again, your strength is probably high enough for the webs now, so I'd keep the free action greaves as a swap.
