I noticed a couple of things (SPOILER warning):

1. In the wilderness, monsters can chase you into the next screen, if they are close enough. I guess this now a part of the wilderness?

2. As a Rune-Knight, I noticed that my Mana decreases by itself, even when I'm not casting any spell. Is this intentional?
