Decided to give the Vampire Troll Sorceror combo a try. Oh yeah, this one is with Silly monsters turned off. So far, I like it, especially the HP. The mana isn't bad either. The only problem is light sensitivity. So, I'll have to get light resistance at some point.

I died in the Haunted House after reading a Summon Undead scroll that summoned a Lesser Black Reaver, after which the home quest went horribly wrong. The other thing was that the Vampire sub-race DOESN'T HAVE see invisible, also leading to Omega Hugo's demise! Otherwise, the Haunted House would have doable at such early levels!
