My gear is a lot stronger now. The Mace of Disruption is my 'regular' weapon, Stormbringer is on swap for its resists and life-draining attacks. I could use something with Resist Shards, the Great Crystal Drakes cut me up something fierce. I'm doing solid damage now and I'm fairly durable, but I'm not getting cocky this time - last time I did that was with my Dark Elf Priest who was at a similar level of power and proceeded to get insta-killed by Eol. So I'm pacing myself this time.

Saw the fourth Nature spellbook in a vault, but it was near a sleeping GWoP, which in turn was surrounded by pack of Light Hounds, all in a tiny room.... Yeah, going in there would just be asking for trouble. So it looks like I'll have to wait awhile to round out my spell collection.

I can chip away at most monsters, but some just laugh at me while bashing back with brutal damage - Gerard the Strongman of Amber springs to mind. I've had to escape from him three times now. I've considered wearing Terror Mask but the aggravation effect is trouble.

Nature magic is awesome. Wall of Stone combined with Stone to Mud is incredibly useful for crowd control, I can pretty much shut down summoners wherever I find them or wall off monsters into manageable groups. Call Sunlight and Stone Tell let me snoop out the level before going into it. I also have healing, damage and Identify spells. I've never really used Nature much before so I'm pleased to find out it's a good, well-rounded school. My Conjuration spells are vital too, I don't use Summons all that often but the various teleports and Imprison (for the Destroyer!) are useful escape tools.
