My latest. I found Zarcuthra very early (~delvel 20) and used it until I found a 9d6 chaos blade of slaying (vorpal and poisan brands), which I used for most of the game, but lost it on dlevel 126 when I swapped it for chainsword. I didn't play it safe this time, I never waited for speed items before diving. I got to dlevel 60 before my first speed item (brand). I dispensed with sound/light/nexus resists for most of the game. Only one close call and that was with the serpent, he took me down to ~100 hp. This is my first half-giant win, but like 10th with warriors. I have also won with chaos warriors, paladin, ranger, warrior-mage. Think I'll try a thief next. I wish I could get the 32x32 tiles to work with the latest Zangband version. Enjoy.
