I am going to go for Magnate's plan of extreme stealth until you get higher speed later in the game. I don't think I'll dive as fast as he does (does anybody?) but diving is much less scary as a rogue with tricks and high stealth, compared to a warrior which I'm used to playing.

Hopefully I'll find some saucy randarts!

Regular chromatic hounds aren't a problem any more. Besides a wereworm and Bolg, I haven't run into anything nasty. Time to dive more! My stealth seems to be keeping things quiet while I detect treasure and sneak over to items.

Currently I get 8 blows/round for around 560 damage per round (690 vs. undead). And NO AGGRAVATES or other nasty effect. I'm shocked at how uber this is.
