The drained Dexterity hasn't been a huge problem, I just keep casting Bless before every fight to compensate for the AC and To Hit penalties. The most immediate annoyance is that he has no way to identify anything.

It confused him, and he drank his one potion of Cure Critical Wounds, but immediately got confused again. He sucked down four potions of Heroism trying to keep going and actually managed to wound the Umber Hulk pretty badly, but died anyway.
